A Study of Resilient Faith Across Generations

The purpose of this research is to study examples of resilient and enduring faith across generations.  Resilience, in this study, is defined as the process of adapting well in the face of adverse life experience(s), trauma, and /or tragedy.  Faith, in this study, is defined as belief in a deity, God or spiritual presence. Through this examination of faith resilience, I will consider ways in which participants have remained faithful, lost faith and/or rediscovered their faith after a challenging time.

If you participate in this research, you will be asked to complete the attached questionnaire. There are minimal or no risks and benefits involved in your participation. However, the results of the research may contribute to the development of a teaching tool which may be employed by young Christians as they wrestle with their own faith or religious teachers as they instruct religious youth. Your participation in the survey is strictly voluntary and will take approximately 15 - 20 minutes. The duration of this research project is February 2, 2019, to February 15, 2019.

Confidentiality
The information/data you provide for this research will be treated confidentially and will be collected anonymously with no individually-identifiable information.  Any answers given will not be disclosed to a third party, only stored for reference in a secure database.
